All Puzzle Zap grids are generated to be solvable without guessing or searching for contradictions (in other words, you can always progress the grid by looking at each row/column individually).

Nonograms go many other names, including Crucipixel, Griddlers, Hanjie, Japanese Crosswords, Japanese Puzzles, Logic Art, Logic Square, Logimage, Paint by Numbers, Paint Logic, Pic-a-Pix, Picross, and Pixel Puzzles.

Challenge yourself to solve random grids of a given size (e.g. 5x5 or 20x20) as fast as possible to claim your place on the leaderboards.

Daily Challenge

Daily Challenge


Every 24 hours, a random selection of grids is made that registered players can play through once. Each grid time is awarded a rank. The ranks are added together to determine each player's overall score. Ranks and score will change as other players play the challenge. At the end of the 24-hour mark, the top 10 players are given an award which is displayed in the "Previous Winners" section.

Daily Challenge

Daily Challenge


Every 24 hours, a new random selection of 3 different sized grids is made. Registered players each get one attempt at each of the grids to get as fast a time as possible to place as high as possible in the rank. Each player's ranks across all 3 grids are added together to provide their total score. This score will change as other players compete in the challenge. At the end of the 24-hour mark, the top 10 players with the lowest scores are given awards to display on their profile (with the top 3 players getting special trophy awards).
